Maruhaba and welcome to Namir Shop! Embark on a unique journey through Maldivian books and memorabilia, all lovingly crafted right here in the Maldives. Namir Shop was founded by the eldest daughter of a large Maldivian family, who grew up surrounded by younger siblings and cousins. As the family’s organizer, she would create imaginative plays, set up pretend classrooms, and teach fun and engaging topics. Her days were filled with storytelling, drawing, painting, award badges, certificates, and gifts like dolls and handcrafted toys. On weekends, she would host entire fun fairs for the children, with fishing booths, haunted houses, shot put with coconuts, and more. In her home, no child was ever bored.

As the first Maldivian bookshop, Namir Shop strives to share this one-of-a-kind Maldivian experience with children across the Maldives and around the world, through locally made books and memorabilia. Here, no child will ever be bored!
